She

It was a dark night, with no shadows. He was driving absentmindedly on an unpaved road when, on a sharp curve, the headlights illuminated the figure of a woman. He turned the wheel quickly to try not to hit her but it was impossible. He braked the vehicle and got out quickly to help her. She then realized that she was dead. The headlights of his vehicle illuminated the macabre scene. He dragged her, with great difficulty, away from the road, and hid her behind some bushes. He returned home and that night he could not fall asleep; at dawn, he fell asleep. He woke up a while later remembering the accident. He got up and raised the blinds on the bedroom window. The image of the run-over woman was reflected in the mirror, sitting on the edge of the bed. He turned around terrified and there she was, with a trickle of blood coming down from the corner of her lips. She stayed to live with him forever. Already on his deathbed, she confessed that the accident was not even a coincidence. After hundreds of years, she managed not to live alone. When her partners died, she hatched a plan like the one in the accident. And now she would act like this again with her next victim. Because she was immortal.
