Time and Eternity

I wandered through Eternity, and without realizing it, I came to the place where Time lives. When I entered, Time asked me about her friend Eternity. Eternity has always been separate from Time, but Time adores it. He spares no effort to get her attention, but Eternity, undaunted, ignores his claims, knowing they will never be together.

El tiempo y la eternidad

Deambulaba por la eternidad, y sin darme cuenta, llegué al lugar en el que vive el tiempo. Cuando entré, el tiempo me preguntó por su amiga la eternidad. La eternidad siempre ha estado separada del tiempo, pero el tiempo la adora. Éste no escatima esfuerzos para que ella le preste atención, pero la eternidad, impávida, ignora sus pretensiones, sabiendo que nunca estarán juntos.
